Mr. Robinson's Announcements

Welcome to an exciting year at St. Peter the Apostle School. We are ecstatic about the many changes that are underway in our Technology Department. Sr. Roberta has given us the go ahead to completely renovate the school’s computer lab from the ground floor up. These changes will encompass new computers, flat-screen monitors, smartboards, wireless Internet, and even new classroom furniture. With our self-imposed deadline of October 31st and assistance from several parents, we are well on our way to completing this amazing task. Our students are off to a great start and are eagerly awaiting the new look in Room 211.

• The lower grades have been concentrating on learning the proper technique for keyboarding as well as basic computer 101.
• The middle grades have been creating elaborate spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel that contain advanced formulas and functions.
• The upper grades have been taking a crash course in Microsoft Word formatting and creating data charts in Excel as they prepare for the Science Fair.
