2nd Quarter Social Studies Project

Countries of Europe Project

Due date: December 5, 2011

Students will lose 25 pts for each day that it is late.

You may choose from one of two options.

Option 1:

*Written Report with a poster: 3-5 paragraphs; typed or handwritten

*Resources: Students must have at least 2 different types of resources.  A bibliography page will be included at the end of their report.  We will go over how to do a bibliography in class.

*Oral Presentation: 5-10 minutes; poster board to go along with presentation

Some things that should be included in both the report and poster include the country’s flag, capital, population, currency, language. They should include other information about the country’s culture and traditions.

Option 2:

*Power Point: You may do a power point presentation that is 10-15 minutes long.  Creativity will be included in the grade. This should not be in paragraph format.
